Echoes of the Earth is a textured mixed-media work inspired by the hidden layers of history buried beneath the earth’s surface. The sculptural texture evokes ancient landscapes, erosion, and fragments of memory slowly emerging through time. The glowing horizon and suspended color drips represent echoes traveling across generations, connecting the past with the present.
This piece was created using layered texture, acrylic, and four layers of resin to build depth, luminosity, and movement. Between each resin layer, subtle drips of color were added to symbolize historical energy rising through the land. As viewers move around the artwork, the textured surface shifts in color and reflection, transforming the piece into an interactive visual experience.
Part of my Morphokinetic Art practice, this work combines texture, light, and movement to challenge the idea of a static painting and invite viewers into a constantly changing landscape.
